Tibet Peace Guest House
Hari Malla
Hari Malla is your host and the owner of Tibet Peace Guest House. About 22 years ago he acquired a property named Squib Cottage, renovated it and renamed it Kathmandu Peace Guest House. After doing business for 3 years, he sold it to an Indian client who renamed it Glacier Dome Rest House.
12 years later, Hari reclaimed his property from the same client, changed its name to Tibet Peace Guest House and has been running it quite successfully ever since. Even during the 10 year long conflict period in Nepal, Hari kept doing his best to sustain his guesthouse and was finally able to establish it both in terms of recognition and profits.
He loves nature, arts and Nepalese literature. He is a soft spoken person always willing to win other people's hearts by actual deeds rather than mere words. Most of the business he gets is generated through referrals made by his satisfied customers.

Meet Rajendra Prasad Sapkota and Outdoor Himalayan Treks, your local connection in Kathmandu. Starting as a young porter, Rajendra has all the local knowledge that will make your trip to Kathmandu life changing. With us, visitors experience remote villages, meet local people, and gain insight into our culture. We support local villages, and have even built a local orphanage to house and educate displaced, and often outcast, children. We hope to bring you a journey that will be enriching, but will also help those in need in Kathmandu.
