The Managing Director of The Shanker Hotel, Mr. Binod Shanker Shrestha, took over total responsibility of the hotel after his father Mr. Ram Shanker Shrestha. The hotel with its regal colonial architecture and luxurious interiors was renovated by the ingenious concepts of Mr. Shrestha, who, besides maintaining the old age beauty, has managed to merge it with modern comforts.
His contributions to the smooth running of the hotel are exemplary and so are his calm and dignified personality and administrative qualities. At present he is an executive member of Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN) and Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA).
Prabhu Shanker Shrestha, the Executive Manager, is a young and dynamic person. To try new ideas, Prabhu never hesitates nor does he fail to take quick decisions where necessary. He is equally warm to all - clients, colleagues and subordinates.
