Day 1: Kathmandu - Sundarijal - Chisapani

Your journey begins from Kathmandu with a short (approx. 1 hour) drive to Sundarijal, a popular picnic spot rich in greenery and water bodies. After hiking from this point for about 5 hours through Shivapuri Watershed and Wildlife Reserve, you will arrive at the next destination, Chisapani (2300m).

Day 2: Chisapani - Nagarkot

Yet another refreshing hike through a forest (3 hrs) and then a village (3-4 hrs) will take you to Nagarkot (2,175m), a hill-station popular equally among domestic and international tourists for the eye-catching views it offers. You will love to see the sunset, have a delicious dinner and a good night's rest in your hotel room.

Day 3: Nagarkot - Changunarayan - Bhaktapur - Kathmandu

Wake up early in the morning to see the spellbinding sunrise and the beautiful mountain range right on the horizon, if permitted by the weather. Make sure to carry your camera along or you will regret later to have missed so much. Your final hike routes through Changunaryan and Bhaktapur, both recognised UNESCO World Heritage Sites, where well-preserved medieval architecture and lifestyle of Newar ethnicity can be observed. Finally, you will be driven back to Kathmandu, where the trip ends.
