Hotel Utse is situated on Jyata-Thamel Street, one of the main streets in the Thamel area. From Tribhuvan International Airport, it takes about 20-30 minutes to get to the hotel, depending on the traffic conditions.

If you are visiting Kathmandu for the first time, you are advised to take a cab from the airport. The normal taxi fare is between 6-8 US Dollars.
After leaving the airport, turn right and head for Thamel via Gaushala, Ratopul, Putalisadak and Durbar Marg. From Durbar Marg, take Tridevi Marg, the main road leading to Thamel. From the first intersection (also known as the Jyatha-Thamel crossroad), turn left. About 200 m ahead, you will see Hotel Utse on the left side of the street.
