Hotel Tradition has adopted two contrasting themes - the contemporary and the traditional Newari architecture. You will be fascinated by the interior design especially that of the reception and the lobby, where you can see how intricate the building blocks actually are. Stone and metal sculptures, wood carvings, paintings and other decorative elements have been lavishly used. The founders are indeed trying their best to preserve the vanishing traditions of Nepal.
Since the building is taller than those in the vicinity, you can have an unobstructed view of the valley including most of the landmarks of the city. Narayanhiti Palace Museum, Swoyambhunath Stupa, Tribhuvan International Airport, Dharahara and Durbar Square are a few to name.
The hotel has very friendly, polite and responsible staff and attendants. They will make you feel at home and work round the clock to ensure that you are satisfied.

Meet Rajendra Prasad Sapkota and Outdoor Himalayan Treks, your local connection in Kathmandu. Starting as a young porter, Rajendra has all the local knowledge that will make your trip to Kathmandu life changing. With us, visitors experience remote villages, meet local people, and gain insight into our culture. We support local villages, and have even built a local orphanage to house and educate displaced, and often outcast, children. We hope to bring you a journey that will be enriching, but will also help those in need in Kathmandu.
