Hotel Lucky Star

Taxis usually charge approximately US$7.00 to transfer you from the airport to Hotel Lucky Star, or the hotel can arrange to pick you up if requested at time of booking.

After exiting Tribhuvan Int'l Airport, tell your driver to take you to Thamel Chowk (Chowk means a crossing or junction in Nepali) through Kesharmahal and along Tridevi Marg. From the Chowk, turn right and then immediately turn left. When you reach the T-junction about 20 metres ahead, turn right and again about 30 metres ahead, take a left.

The next T-junction leads to Bank of Kathmandu (Thamel Branch) if you go right. Only two or three blocks past this bank, you will be at a cross-road. Turn left from there. The second block on your right is exactly where the hotel is situated.
