Himalayan Shangri-La Village Resort

Rooms are very spacious, all with king size beds (unless you ask for a twin bedded room). Large panoramic windows facing the Himalayas and resembling a 150-inch plasma screen sensibly replace televisions. Similarly, an eco-friendly central heating/cooling system which conducts hot/cold air through pipes concealed below the flooring replaces air-conditioners. The floor is wholly parquet and handmade rugs are placed near beds and living areas.

All rooms have private bathrooms with large windows. Shower stalls that will make you feel like you are bathing outdoors have been installed instead of tubs, thus, retaining plenty of uncluttered space. The rooms and bathrooms are perfectly maintained.
