If it is an enlivening experience far from urban chaos that you are looking for, you can count on Dhulikhel Mountain Resort (DMR). Since its establishment in 1981, the resort has been constantly researching on new concepts and implementing proven ones, so that the luxuries it offers do not come with irreversible impacts on its surroundings. This means, as you enjoy being pampered, a team of conscious staff is always working behind the scenes to help preserve the aesthetics of this wonderful destination.
Facilities & Services
The vast stretch of its well tended garden is enough to make you feel like you're relaxing in the wilderness. If you crave for more, the resort also offers several activities and cultural tours around the hill-station and villages nearby, customisable as per your personal interests.
Redefining cultural experience, DMR hosts about 20 different programmes in the evenings in its beautiful courtyard. These do not only entertain guests, but also portray the rituals, music and dances of diverse ethnic groups of Nepal, which deserve to be kept alive.
To help you get rid of fatigue, four different types of rejuvenating spa therapies are provided by specialised therapists at the in-house spa. Ranging from 60 to 90 minutes in duration, these therapies include herbal treatment, stretching, effleurage and other techniques meant to improve your circulatory system and promote energy flow.
Where so many features are typical, how can food and beverage stand second? You get to select delicacies that suit your taste buds from extensive Nepalese, Continental, Oriental, Chinese and Indian menus. As most of the dishes are prepared using organically grown ingredients, your dietary concerns are within safe bounds. However, "Chicken A-la-Kiev" a continental dish, all the way from 1970's, from the time of Borrish, is now very much available at Dhulikhel Mountain Resort.
