You can choose to be picked up either from Tribhuvan Int'l Airport or your hotel in Kathmandu.


Notes:
By booking this trek all you hereby agree that:

1. You will have a valid insurance covering cancellations, accidents, health, emergency evacuation and loss/theft/damage of their baggages and personal effects.

2. When an emergency evacuation is required, you will provide the insurance policy details and authorise the tour operator to deal with the insurance company directly.


Cancellation policy

- A minimum of 30% of the total amount will be charged against all cancellations in order to compensate the pre-arrangement expenses of the operator.

- Cancellations made from 7 to 2 days before the trek departure will be processed with 50% cancellation fee.

- Failure to cancel at least 48 hours prior to the trek departure will be considered a No-Show, whereupon, no refund will be entertained.

Children policy

- Children below 10 years of age are not allowed to participate in this trek

- Children over 10 years of age must be accompanied by parents.

Itinerary

Day 1: Trip begins with a drive from Kathmandu to Besishahar (823m).

Day 2: Besishahar to Baundada (1430m).

Day 3: Baundanda to Chamje (1560m).

Day 4: Chamje to Dharapani (1881m).

Day 5: Dharapani to Chame (2725m).

Day 6: Chame to Pisang (3100m).

Day 7: Pisang to Manang (3500m).

Day 8: Acclimatisation, whole day.

Day 9: Manang to Yak kharka or Lether. (4000-4200m)

Day 10: Yak Kharka to Throung Phedi or High camp (4420m).

Day 11: Throung Phedi to Thorongla - La (above 5416m), then trek down to Muktinath (3802m).

Day 12
: Muktinath to Marpha (2670m), via Kagbeni - Jomsom.

Day 13: Marpha to Kalopani (2480m).

Day 14: Kalopani to Tatopani (1219m).

Day 15: Tatopani to Ghorepani (2860m).

Day 16: Ghorepani to Tadapani (2590m).

Day 17: Tadapani to Ghandrung (1951m).

Day 18: Ghandrung to Pothana (1890m).

Day 19
: Pothana to Pokhara (915m).

Day 20
: Drive back to Kathmandu, where the journey ends.

Participant guidelines

You are advised to read carefully and follow the guidelines below.

Health Requirement - You need to be healthy and physically fit to be able to do this strenuous trekking. So make sure to get yourself examined beforehand.

Skills Required - Basic skills of trekking is enough. Past experience is preferred, though not compulsory.

Travel Insurance - Participants must be insured against cancellations, accidents, health, emergency evacuation and loss, theft of, or damage to, baggage and personal effects.

Equipment Required - You need to buy/hire the following items for the trip:
- Trek boots
- Down Jacket
- Thick, warm and comfortable clothing (jackets, trousers, socks, gloves)
- Sunglasses, sunscreen, snow goggles
- Flashlight & batteries
- Sleeping bag
- Crampons
- Ice -jack
- Rope
- Safety belt
- Snow bar
- Walking poles
- Three passport sized photographs for climbing permit documentation
